Project Description: This project was developed at the request of the City, which was looking for projects to replace the single room occupancy housing units that were lost when the Hartford Hotel collapsed in the early 1980’s. The development was made possible through a grant to Broad-Park Development Corp. from Metropolitan Life. This was also one of the first Federal Housing Tax Credit developments in the state, allowing Broad-Park to partner with the National Equity Fund, a subsidiary of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation.
