BROAD-PARK UPDATE
Happy 2008 to our friends! Broad-Park is moving forward on our transition in leadership. Thanks to you, the hard work and commitment of the Board of Directors and staff, Broad-Park will continue to fulfill its mission of Improving Neighborhoods through Community Revitalization. Raquel Rivera continues as the Interim Executive Director, working together with the property and development staff to accomplish Broad-Park’s goals. Broad-Park continues to work on existing developments and to seek new development opportunities. We are please to announce that Broad-Park development is adding two new properties to it’s properties management services. Ann Silverman, of Third Sector New England has been recruited to assist us with our executive director transition process. She has many years of experience assisting nonprofits like Broad-Park. With Ann's help, we are positively strengthening our future. We all know that Broad-Park is an important community development and property management organization that has an important history of providing affordable housing to low income individuals and revitalizing the Greater Hartford community. We also congratulate Yolanda Fontanez who has accepted an opportunity in the private sector and we wish her well with her new endeavor. We valued her 12 years of commitment to Broad-Park. Her professional growth during her tenure has contributed to the success of the organization. We value your support, and welcome your input as we move forward in 2008. Sincerely,
Ana Alfaro L. Raquel Rivera President Interim Executive Director Board of Directors |
